The Diversity & Inclusion Manager is a member of the Pepsi Beverages Company's corporate OMD team. This role develops and prioritizes initiatives and timelines to ensure completion of diversity and inclusion goals. He or she will manage assigned diversity related projects/activities to drive engagement, execution, visibility and accountability including setting strategy and direction for diversity leadership teams, developing goals and implementing best practices to help ensure that Pepsi Beverages and the regions within achieves their D&I strategy and accomplish the tasks in its annual work plan.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Managing all beverage activities related to the creation and sustainability of Diversity and inclusion
Develop and implement D&I action plans and align with into the overall business plans
Monitor and analyze D&I data both nationally and Regionally
o Conduct quarterly analytics on national diversity metrics; provide national and region trends to the field
Uses expertise in diversity and organizational development to help guide the DAB.
Provides consultation to the DAB in developing its annual work plan, supports implementation and provides guidance to projects.
Translates strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions based on best available information, and communicate priorities clearly and concisely to management.
Share national best practices with Sr. Leadership to help drive the D&I agenda; provide turnkey tools to the field and functions to ensure flawless execution of D&I initiatives
Manage the beverage community grant program to drive local participation
Support the National Diversity Advisory Board and host national meetings with key leaders to track success against the D&I Framework
Manage all the D&I development programs to ensure 100% participation across the enterprise
Support Heritage Months for HQ & Field (posters, events, communications)
Assist in the roll out of diversity and inclusion initiatives and ensure effective implementation and tracking of desired results
Liaison between PepsiCo Center of Excellence and PBC HQ and field organization
Maintain and communicate national D&I calendar inclusive of local events, national events and recruitment events
Liaison with PepsiCo Corp on development event selection, communications and logistics
Support day-to-day data requests from HQ HR Generalists, ERGs,
Support the activities of existing employee resource groups
Maintain ERG website updates
Track and report on impact of diversity and inclusion initiatives within networking and development
Produce scorecard metrics
Analyze movement and development , hiring rates, retention rates, promotion rates, and movement of talent across lines of business
Liaison to field organization to provide tools (existing training materials)
Liaison to field organization on PepsiCo Corporate messaging and resources
Provide support to VP Diversity & Talent Acquisition on Diversity Advisory Board meetings
Manager D&I budget and true up process for ERGs
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills including the ability to effectively coach leaders, build relationships and leverage resources within the function and across the organization to advance business strategy.
Knowledge in change management, organizational design, talent and performance management, strategic and operational planning.
Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization.
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity.
Demonstrated knowledge of cultural differences and of the issues related to culturally competent care.
Access program and national resources to apply to the region's needs.
Facilitate senior level committees, teams and major events.
