The Senior Manager, Beverage Capital and Engineering Procurement will provide beverage procurement support to business unit and Sector Engineering functions for capital and engineering activities. This role will provide subject matter expertise and PepsiCo World Wide leverage to specific spending activities via supplier Master Agreements, leveraged negotiations and Power of One focus to suppliers. This role will manage a global spend level of $100-300MM with directional cost avoidance, productivity and CAR execution support targets of $5-10MM on an annual basis.
Key Responsibilities
Provide updates to business unit senior leadership on Global Procurement project impact and activities on a regimented basis to support CAR execution
Provide post purchase order support to engineering for supplier equipment delivery or accountability issues
Specific capital equipment & engineering supplier master agreement ownership for worldwide PepsiCo
Project specific negotiations with multiple suppliers on capital and engineering proposals
Enhance NAB MWBE spending relationships by providing guidance on both long term strategic and short term spending activities.
30-40% travel both international and domestic
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree required (prefer engineering or technical)
Master's Degree preferred
5
years experience in procurement, engineering or engineering related positions
Possess functional and working knowledge of beverage production platforms
Multiple language skills beneficial
